Monthly Membership Fees and Testing Fees
PREMIER MARTIAL ARTS ACADEMY'S membership fee is a recurring charge, due each month. Membership fees are commonplace in this and similar industries, and are considered to be payment for providing a specific service, in this case, martial arts training. It is your responsibility to pay these fees in a timely manner on or before the due date. Likewise, it is our duty as instructors, to provide you and/or your family members with competent and skilled training in the field of martial arts. A belt-testing fee of $25.00 will be required for their first belt test, and will only increase $10 every other time a student is promoted in rank. Black belt testing fees are slightly higher.

Payment
Payment for membership is non-refundable once the initial class is attended. PREMIER MARTIAL ARTS ACADEMY accepts cash, although personal checks are the preferred method of payment. Credit cards are not accepted at this time. Receipts can be written upon request. All fees not paid on or before the 1st of each month will incur a $20.00 late fee.

Attendance
An average of two classes per week minimum is required in order to qualify for on-time belt testing in any particular testing cycle. If this minimum is not met, belt testing will be postponed until the next testing date. No make up classes are offered.

Uniforms
Upon arrival to class, uniforms will be neat, clean, and odor free. Sleeves will be cuffed to just below the elbow. If a t-shirt is worn under the uniform, it is to be tucked into the pants. No long sleeved t-shirts will be worn under the uniform. Belts must be tied correctly! Earrings, bracelets, and other jewelry are not to be worn to class for safety reasons. Students with unusually dyed or cut hair, that would distract others, may be asked not to attend class. This will be left to the instructor's discretion. As in many uniformed activities, arriving in a complete uniform is essential. Students arriving in an incomplete uniform (i.e. no belt or school patch) may be asked not to participate in that day's class. Extra uniforms, belts and patches can be purchased at the dojo for a very reasonable price.

Punctuality and our "Future Black Belt" Attitude
As in any organized activity, it is expected that all students arrive to class on time and ready to train, in order to avoid any unnecessary disruptions. If a student arrives late to class, he or she is to stand at the edge of the floor with their hand raised. An instructor will then call on them to join class. A serious "future black belt" attitude will be maintained throughout the entire class. Silliness and unexpected outbursts make it difficult for the other students to pay attention to the instructors, thus making it more difficult for them to learn. These matters will be dealt with on a "three strikes, you're out" basis, the third warning resulting in removal from that day's class. Out of respect for the school, ALL STUDENTS will stand to their feet whenever the school creed is recited, whether they are participating in class or not.
